The vineyard above the service station

During construction of the Bressanone/Brixen service station, we planted a vineyard on the steep slope behind the building. Small is beautiful – that was our motto. The soil was found to be ideal for Riesling, and the vines have been tended there with loving care ever since. Our first wine was bottled in 2016 – and you can taste and purchase it in our service stations. Since laying out the vineyard and harvesting our first grapes, we have continually honed our wine-making skills.

Pure nature in the glass

In the case of wine, our commitment to “Fine fare from the region” means wine from South Tyrol. The Lanz wine is a clear and convincing Riesling incorporating the colours and taste of South Tyrol. It is a harmonious addition to our range of products – and also a source of personal pride. After all, how many service station operators can say they make their own wine?

For our range of wines, we maintain close ties with the best wine-growers in Val d’Isarco and the rest of South Tyrol. As a result, we are able to offer wines at vineyard prices.

We stock wines from the following producers: Gumphof, Hoandl Nössing, Köfererhof, Pacherhof, Kuenhof, Strasserhof, Taschlerhof, Neustift Abbey, Hofstätter, Alois Lageder, Manincor, Cantina Terlano/Terlan Kellerei, Elena Walch, Waldgries and others. As a member of eisacktalWein we support and promote wine growing in Val d'Isarco.

Julian – made with love

The vines in our vineyard above the service station have done well, and the first vintage was bottled in 2016. This Riesling is an elegant, fresh wine with mineral notes. It has the colours and the taste of the region – and the name of our son on the label. It is a fine, light companion to a range of dishes, made with love by Monika and  Matthias Lanz.
